Ben Perlmutter, Partner

I am a double graduate of the University of Southern California where I hold a bachelor’s and law degree. Within 2 weeks of being a licensed attorney, I tried my first case to verdict. Since then, I have tried somewhere in the double digits of jury trials. At P&P Firm we handle Elder Abuse & Neglect, Elder Financial Abuse, and Personal Injury cases. We routinely achieve outlier results for our clients because of our unique ability to try cases to juries. If you or your loved one has been injured or wronged at a long-term care facility, then we are the right law firm for you.

David Pourshalimi, Partner

I am a UCLA alumnus and Loyola Law School graduate. I have dedicated my career to advocating for those affected by human suffering and injustice. To achieve this, I worked diligently to become an effective jury trial advocate. I began my legal journey as a criminal prosecutor, and I immediately started trying cases as soon as I was sworn in as a lawyer. During my tenure as a criminal prosecutor, I handled every jury trial I could get my hands on, honing my trial skills until they became razor-sharp. I co-founded P&P Firm with a mission to serve a higher purpose and make a tangible impact. Our focus is on seeking justice for elder and dependent adults who have suffered abuse and neglect in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other long-term care settings. Additionally, we represent catastrophically injured individuals. Our exceptional trial skills and unwavering commitment to justice have earned us recognition, as we commit ourselves obtaining the best possible outcomes for our clients. At P&P Firm, we stand ready to champion the rights of those harmed in nursing and assisted living facilities. If you or a loved one are a victim of elder abuse or have suffered a catastrophic injury, don’t delay—call P&P today.

Stewart Levin, Of Counsel

An attorney for over 30 years, I have actively litigated cases involving elder neglect and abuse, financial elder abuse, and trust and estate litigation. I have been invited to teach other members of the legal profession how to litigate elder abuse cases, at seminars sponsored by the Continuing Education of the Bar, the Elder Law Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and other privately sponsored courses. I am an instructor on trial skills involving elder law issues at an annual symposium for UCLA physicians. I have achieved successful trial verdicts, in both judge and jury trials, successful arbitration awards, and results-oriented mediated settlements during my over-30 years in practice.

Nora Ward, Legal Assistant

I graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2021 majoring in Communications & Legal Studies. As a COVID grad, I contemplated the next steps of my career. I found myself teaching English at an elementary school in Spain for two years working with preschoolers, first graders, and sixth graders. My students in Spain led me to find many new interests and passions, such as supporting the Real Madrid soccer team and Spanish fashion. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, going on walks at the beach, attending stand-up comedy shows, salsa dancing, and kickboxing.
